about the artist
Samantha Sykes was born in Detroit, Michigan and now resides in Buckeye, Arizona. She is a wife and full time mom to 2 little boys. She went to college and graduated in 2024 with her A.S. in Veterinary Technology and now practices as a Certified Veterinary Technician part-time.
Art has always been one of her passions. Her mom is an artist, and she always wanted to be like her mom. Every year for Christmas as a little girl, Sam always wanted a new craft art set.
She lost her way from art for a long time. She started regaining it by making jewelry, which she still loves to do. But during that process, she found "doodling," which is what fueled her fire to really start creating art again.
